Updates for 2026

    I know its been a while since our last update on this site, but 2025 has been a year full of changes for Candle in the Dark. Last autumn, we had to part ways with our original drummer, Kevin Conway. The split was friendly and amicable and we wish him all the best. Kevin is still active in several other bands in the area, so check his Facebook Page for updates on what he's doing.

    Taking up the reins behind the kit for Candle in the Dark is Steve Gardner, formerly of Soul Satellite. Steve is the drummer from "Sweating Bullets", a Megadeth tribute band formed with some members of Candle in the Dark. Steve has been hard at work learning Candle in the Dark songs, along with helping to write new material. New photos and Reels coming soon to our Social Media and this website, so keep your eyes open.

    2026 is shaping up to be a good one for Candle in the Dark as we welcome Steve into the band, and we can't wait to get back on stage and play music for all of you again! Watch our Spotify page for new music, and we'll see you at the next show...
